Who we are
EvenPay is a trading style of Solvo Solutions Ltd, a claims management company authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 1013195) in respect of regulated claims management activities. EvenPay is a referrer, not a law firm, and is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. If you proceed, your claim is handled by Harcus Parker Limited, an SRA-regulated law firm, which pays Solvo a fee for the introduction. Harcus Parker Limited is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA No. 653501).
What it costs you
You pay EvenPay nothing. If your claim succeeds, Harcus Parker charges a fee of 24% + VAT of the money you recover, set out in full before you sign. If you cancel within 14 days, Harcus Parker can charge for work already done at your request. If you end your claim after that, you may have to pay a share of legal fees and costs. The full terms are in the engagement letter you’ll see before you sign. Outcomes depend on your individual circumstances.
You do not need to use us
You do not need paid representation to bring an equal pay claim. You can raise the issue directly with your employer, contact Acas for free early conciliation, or bring a claim to an employment tribunal yourself. A claim made through a claims management company or solicitor may not necessarily be resolved more quickly, or with a better prospect of success.
Time limits
Strict time limits apply to equal pay claims. To claim, you must have worked at a store in England, Scotland or Wales within the last six years; whether your claim is brought in the Employment Tribunal or in court depends on when you left.
